  Dr. Richard Lin 

Founder and President of CCCMIW. Dr. Lin is a Senior Professor in Church Music at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to this he had also been Professor of Music and Chairman of the Voice Department at the Oklahoma Baptist University for over twelve years. Besides teaching, he had served as Minister of Music at various Baptist churches in California, Kentucky and Oklahoma for many years. 

Born in China, Dr. Lin studied voice at the National Conservatory of Music in Shanghai, China at his early age. Subsequently, he obtained a premier Accessit de Chant (undergraduate) degree from the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, France; a Master of Church Music degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Postgraduate studies at the University of Southern California, Indiana University and the Royal School of Music, London, England. 

Dr. Lin is a member of the Association of Voice Teachers and American Choral Directors Association. His name is listed in the Who's Who in American Education.
